Sarah was everything I hoped for and more in a doula! From the first time we met I could tell she would be a calming and confident presence throughout my birth. In the midst of a very long labor, she was not only helpful in navigating my options, but she was also fun and easy to spend time with- a very important quality in a labor support person! Sarah was connected to the labor and delivery staff and was able to advocate for me. Without her, I am positive I would have had an unwanted / unnecessary intervention at some point along the way. Her photos we're absolutely incredible and captured moments I will forever cherish. I cannot recommend her enough!

We knew Sarah was the perfect fit for our birth the day we met her. She was everything we were looking for- informed, professional, kind, flexible and non-judgmental. I was in the stage where I had read so much information, my head was spinning trying to make 'decisions' on how I wanted to plan my birth. As we approach my sons second birthday I’ve been reflecting on his birth and life and realized I was yet to write a review for our doula Sarah. As an older first time mom (I turned 39 a couple weeks after my son was born) I had all the expectation and anxiety of someone who has been dreaming of and longing for this experience for all too long. My husband is all for medical intervention while I wanted to see what my body and my baby could do. Because of this we hired Sarah. I’m a labor and delivery nurse and have worked closely with Sarah over the last several years. Sarah always finds ways to deeply connect with her patients. She listens intently to their wants and needs and is able to tailor her skills accordingly to give them the birth experience they desire all while keeping them safe and ensure that their labor progresses. I am constantly learning new techniques from Sarah that I incorporate into my own practice. When I know Sarah is the doula for one of my patients I feel an extra sense of comfort knowing my patients are in the best of hands. Sarah is incredibly intuitive to women’s bodies and the birth process, she is compassionate and genuinely cares for her clients. I recommend her to anyone and everyone !

Sarah is an amazing doula, she helped to the most beautiful birthing experience. Of course my first baby had to come in the middle of the night, Sarah was at my house within an hour of calling her, she helped me labor at home as was my plan. Sarah was so helpful in offering position changes, holding a heating pad to my back and timing my contractions. I loved the birth photography and she did a beautiful placenta stamp. It was so nice to have someone know what I needed without having to ask, she offered sips of water, chapstick, cold washcloth, added lavender to the bath, made sure to have the music I wanted and she put up cute little signs that were very encouraging. At my postpartum visit I enjoyed reading the summary she wrote about the birth, memories we never want to forget!
