Comfort Keepers Care Services

Grace from Comfort Keepers has cared for my Mom the last 3+ years. We have so appreciated her care, dependability and companionship for my mom. I was able to leave the house and do what I needed to do and know that my mom was in capable hands.

Over the holidays, my 88 year old mother fell and broke her hip. After some time at the hospital, we called Comfort Keepers to help us with 24 hour in home care. It is important to remember, any adjustment from independence to in home care is difficult. It took a little to get the right team in place, but our first caregiver was our favorite, Merina. Once a schedule was established, we were able to have Merina with us most days. Her care went beyond expectations. She not only did her job well, she truly invested personally with my mom. She brought baked her favorite family bread together, they talked about books, she helped her pull the house back together when she was able to resume regular activities, she treated her to a nice meal on her birthday, she kept me (her daughter) infor

Jo Ann Lyman, a staff member of Comfort Keepers has been absolutely amazing! She has given me support working through the issues associated with a family member with dementia. She ended up referring me to the Comfort Keeper organization in Des Moines who were just as wonderful! In all honesty, they have been the key to keeping my sanity as we try and find the best care for our mom and navigate the medical system. Would recommend (and have!) them 100%!!

We have been with Comfort Keepers for a little over a month. After our initial caregiver was no longer available, Alice was sent to take care of my husband. Alice has been so helpful, kind and compassionate. Although she is not our primary caregiver, we are glad that she is part of my husband's care team. Our new primary caregiver is Ann. Ann is amazing, she takes initiative and goes above and beyond what we have asked of her. She is attentive, kind and compassionate. We are so grateful to have her as our new primary caregiver.
