Sanitas Medical Center

Sanitas Medical Center of Clermont provided excellent care during my first walk-in visit and lab work. I was kindly greeted and treated by all staff members and Dr. Matos from the moment I entered their clean and spacious waiting room, which could probably seat around 20 people, but only 3 others were there when I came in around 1pm, and only a few more trickled in while I waited. They even offer coffee while you are waiting. The entire facility is extremely clean and clearly well run. I explained to Andrea at the front desk that I really needed all of my regular prescriptions refilled, but I was also slightly overdue for my regular lab work and physical exam. I honestly expected to have to make an appointment and return sometime in the future, but she very kindly said I could come back in

I am extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and ethics at this clinic. The doctor attempted to change my medications despite the system clearly indicating documented allergies in my medical record. There was also an effort to prescribe medications that were unnecessary and not medically justified. Communication has been very poor. The clinic does not properly inform patients, appointments are changed the same day without adequate notice, and there is no respect for the patient’s time or continuity of care. What I find most unacceptable is that the doctor contacted me from her personal phone to reprimand me, implying that I had requested or altered a prescription myself, when it was clearly prescribed by her. I'm really happy I found a great Doctor at Santanitas Clermont that really care and lessons, Dr. Matos is the Doctor I was praying to find, she lessons and cares she is wonderful. Also the staff is great, very friendly and ready to help and answer any questions you might have, I love this medical office and highly recommend it!❤️

Good luck getting a referral from this place if you’re going to Birth center. I’ve been going back and forth for almost a whole month. When they finally figured it out they only write 1 approved visit. So I’ve been calling everyday for 4 days now for them to add more visits. No luck. I have my OB appointment next week and if they don’t fix this I won’t be able to see them. UPDATE: it’s been over 1 week and still no response. When I call the receptionist they keep escalating the problem and that I will receive a call back and never did. Mind you I’ve been calling everyday. Tomorrow was supposed to be my OB appointment. Still no referral so it had to be cancelled. THIS PLACE IS A JOKE!!!! Dr. Migladis still has not corrected this issue.

I am a returning patient at Sanitas Clermont office. The staff and Dr. are very nice and professional. I have been there a few times and each time I’ve had a great experience. The wait time isn’t long at all. I have been in and out in less than an hour. Dr. Migdalis Matos is very attentive and takes her time answering all of my questions.And their facility is very nice and clean.
