Dismissing someone’s genuine tingling and numbness feelings in their left side is absolutely unprofessional and despicable treatment of a patient who is going through a health scare. You nurses need to do better and be better for your patients. The man who went into the ER had a serious health problem that is unidentified and was already scheduled to have a CT scan for a lump in his neck, before the day of the CT scan he came into the ER because of his whole left side of the body was tingling and kind of numb and the nurse had the audacity to treat him like he was stupid or just wanted pills. No, he wants answers and he’s scared as to why he’s in so much pain and tingling on his left side and why there’s a lump on his neck. Somehow this ER has managed to hire the worst providers. Drive to Yankton or Sioux City for any pediatric issues. A $900 bill for these guys to miss a basic throat issue with a DO that doesn’t know how to many differential diagnosis and gets tunnel vision.

I had a wonderful experience today at the ER and will use them the next time I have an emergency. Staff was attentive and very professional.

Negative 5 star review. The PA on duty claimed to hear our concerns, and told my daughter she would not send her home without figuring out what the problem was, but yet sent us home feeling hopeless. And then when we got home, I looked in my daughter’s throat further, and found something sticking out of her tonsil (which is why we went to the ER in the first place). I had to get a tweezers and pull the foreign object out of her tonsil. I’m VERY disappointed that we were NOT TAKEN SERIOUSLY when bringing our daughter to the ER. And that her throat was not examined thoroughly.

A small ER yes but as soon as I walked in I was taken care of right away. My concerns were taken to respectfully and in a kindly fashion. The staff was attentive, willing , and went above and beyond to make sure as I was having an issue they did not have the tools to fix, that they could do anything to comfort me as they coordinated transportation to another hospital for emergency surgery. The Team was great and I am very thankful for the kindness shown.
