Sandstone Estates

My mom recently spent a few weeks at Sandstone after a hip replacement and got the most wonderful care. The staff were warm and caring. They needed nudging a couple of times, like anywhere given how busy everyone is. But they really looked after her. Kindly. Also the rooms are great. She stayed here after a fall two years ago and requested Sandstone this time. I visited someone at Park Avenue recently and it was absolutely the opposite. I'll tell anyone that Sandstone is an excellent choice.

I had to stay at tis facility for several days. It was like being in prison. I was non-ambulatory, so if I had to use the restroom I would have to sit in my own waste for 45 minutes to an hour. The food was disgusting. The administration is just interested in getting your money. STAY AWAY FROM THIS HELL HOLE.

My sister is there and not receiving adequate care according to my family and their interactions. Admission director was not accurate in discussing amenities, care or staffing were unacceptable, room buzzer didn't work.; and beuracacy is over the top ...every request has to be approved... shower chair, bed rails, air mattress, etc...very frustrating

Stay Clear away from Sandstone Estates if you or a loved one needs rehab or long term care. When you call it usually just rings than hangs up on you, I called 12 times and couldn't get anyone to answer my calls. Rehab here is nonexistent, all they had me do was ride a recumbent bike then discharged me from care saying that the nurses said I walk up and down The hallways at night & most of their equipment is broken. It was my neurosurgeons office who had seen me and asked if I Was doing therapy & asked WHY NOT when I said no Hannah the PA wrote me a script for PT & I'm Doing PT twice a week for 1 hour 2× a week.
