Samuel W. Sentell, PHD

Dr. Sentell is one of the few doctors I’ve dealt with who has cared so much about building his patients’ coping skills and knowledge about mental illness. He’s not necessarily a therapist but he always listened intently to what I had to say and actually asked me probing questions to get to the best medication fit for me, which was not the case in my prior experience with a few different NPs and psychiatrist. The staff is so sweet and helpful (shout out to their office manager, especially). And Dr. Sentell is one of the quirkiest and most interesting people I know, as well as one of the bubbliest/happiest. That’s really not an exaggeration either. If you go to him, you’ll understand within 10 minutes. I always left his office in a better mood. 10/10, would recommend

As Ms. Kaylea said, he always presents himself in a positive manner to make you feel as comfortable as possible. And yes, he is quirky, sometimes goofy, has his own personalized style of how he does things; i.e. he is not your typical doctor you imagine in your head. Dr. Sentell is a man of "many hats". Sometimes hes acting in a psychiatric way, sometimes hes more of a counselor, sometimes hes more of a friend with an open ear. Hes extremely flexible with your needs and always puts on the "hat" he feels you need during your visit. This is important because it shows hes doing his best to pay attention to YOU. Had to update OMG!!! Where do I begin!! I'm not going to talk down on other medical type facilities. However I got more information, more engagement from this place than I had anywhere else from other places I been with my son!!!

Best doctor and staff ever…hands down!
