Sam's Club Pharmacy

Wow! I have never had trouble with Sam's until yesterday. Tried to get a delivery. The lady who I called would not help me. I needed an antibiotic. They were out. I just found out by happenstance. You would think I would get the courtesy of a phone call to let me know. No phone call, no message. Talked with a pharmacist who was less than polite. Asked for my RX to be transferred to another location. He told me pretty much to do it myself. This is why I go to the woodlands.

Recently went here to get the Covid 19 vaccination. I specifically wanted the Johnson & Johnson vaccine, and was pleased to find it available at Sam's. The online appointment making process was relatively straightforward and made the in store check-in quick and easy. The lady administering the vaccine was both pleasant and professional. Her proficiency and the use of the new 'Inject-Safe' bandage made the procedure a quick and painless one. I would rate my in pharmacy experience Five Stars but since I do not have any other service experience here, I left my rating at Four.

I don't know why I have a very difficult time obtaining Dr refills at This Sam's Club., They probably are just to busy to follow up, or perhaps it's the system. It's not working for me.. waiting for over 2 weeks on a vital health medication that is cheap and available... They have no problems and always are calling in advance to refill expensive medications but my low cost meds refills are unimportant for them to track.. Looking for other options... I cannot recommend.

Great pharmacy-but very busy (probably because they are so good at what they do). The staff is super kind and many are bilingual (I only speak English but it is really nice to see that they can communicate with those who do not). They explain medications and have worked to get my items transferred from another pharmacy. I have to go bi-monthly ( I unfortunately am on a laundry list of immunosuppressants) and they are always prompt and patient. Highly recommend.

Apparently HIPPA does not apply here. The pharmacist Angelina and pharm tech Lauren made me announce to all of Sam's Club why I needed my prescription before they would fill it. They had my Rx for 4 days prior to me picking it up if they needed this information they should have called to protect my privacy. When I asked the tech for her pharmacists name she refused to give it to me! Awful pharmacy!
