Incredibly disappointed with the customer service of this place, my elderly dog was having a medical emergency and this place was recommended by family, I call in on my way to ensure they were taking walk-ins, they were, would just be a 3-4hr wait based on the stability of my dogs condition (no big deal). I call in when I get there as I was told on the previous call not to come in, but to call and they would come out for triage (odd but also no big deal). When I called in to alert my arrival, I’m asked about my dogs condition, I start describing it in detail to which I’m eventually interrupted to be asked, am I prepared financially for the treatments today. WHAT??? My dog is collapsed near death pooping and peeing himself in the back of my truck and our main priority is finances? I aske

I have brought my Doberman pinscher, Luka, here several times for emergency situations, and Salisbury Animal Hospital has always worked to get me in last minute and provided excellent care for her. Normally I struggle to bring Luka to the vet, as she has a history of abuse by previous owners and suffers from anxiety-related issues. However, she seems very comfortable with the staff here, and Dr. Susan K. Hudson has treated her with great care every time. It also makes me very happy to know that Dr. Hudson and the staff here recognize how important Luka is to me. When I first brought Luka in for an emergency checkup a year or two ago, she was obviously terrified by the new surroundings and was distressed until I was allowed into the examination room with her. Great service. This was the closest so less time for my pet to be in the car because they dont like it. They got me in quickly and got us out just as fast while hearing any concerns that I had. This was just an annual check up so I am not sure if emergency appointments are treated differently. While my pet was really unhappy about it they treated her great and did what was needed quickly to avoid most discomfort on her part.

Love Dr. Hudson and her staff! All of my cats have gone here. Dr. Hudson is knowledgeable and caring. They are a busy office, but I have found them to be responsive and they always fit one of my cats in if it's an emergency or if we need to be accommodated earlier.

Staff and Dr. Hudson are great! They take plenty of time with us and our fur baby, explaining things. They genuinely care about him.
