Salem Hospital

A family member of mine had a major emergency. He called fast, the ambulance got to him fast and the hospital worked on him fast. Because of this he was conscious through the whole thing. He was treated so very kindly, and when things were confusing his nurse Brent took the extra time to answer all questions with great compassion. This nurse to extra steps to help him with other concerns due to his medical condition. I got to the hospital before my family member did in the ambulance. The volunteer staff went back FOUR times to check and see if I could go back with him. I couldn't due to the seriousness of the condition. I felt well cared for. They directed me to another floor to wait. The procedure happened quickly and I was able to see my family member in just under 3 hours. Im so proud o

had a very positive experience at this hospital. From the moment I arrived, the staff was professional, compassionate, and attentive. The nurses were especially kind and took the time to answer questions and explain everything clearly, which made a stressful situation much easier to handle. The doctors were knowledgeable and thorough, and I felt confident in the care I received. The facility itself was clean, well-organized, and efficiently run. Even during busy times, the team remained calm and respectful. I’m truly grateful for the level of care and professionalism shown throughout my stay. I would not hesitate to recommend this hospital to others.

I'm fresh out of the ICU and moved to a new room where the nursing staff is sub par issue 1. Ordered my lunch at 11 am about an hour later my nurse (Gracie) comes in and says I have your lunch but first need to take your blood sugar she did so then leaves and and is gone like an hour. I asked about my lunch from the nurse station and they don't see a tray anywhere and advised me to call in another order. About 30 min later the kitchen staff brought a replacement. gravy finally brought my original lunch in 3 hours after it was ordered I told her that thing could be crawling with food born pathagins as it was prepped 3 hours ago. The people were amazing when I took my mom in today. The nurse who took use back was great. The Dr she saw was kind and sweet, explained everything so understanding. Took good care of my mom, and kept us in the loop of everything. We were seen quick and fast. It was slow day too, despite that we feel like they did a great job compared to when we went to Salem Hospital. Thank you for your hard work and the care provided.

Excellent experience with X-rays. Ultra sound etc here. Only bad thing is parking garage is filthy. Garbage on stairs. Elevators dirty. I never park in there now. I find outside parking. Quite a few homeless hang out in there.
