Saint Luke's South Hospital

Constant miscommunication my most recent stay. Could not fit it all into one review! Some more issues had: Callie the urologist’s nurse told me none of the opioids would be able to touch my pain since the pain was from constant spasming. Mike my nurse in the morning of Sunday said they would help and when I told him what Callie had said he told me she hadn’t?? As if he had been there when he had not…? The male overnight doctor I had told me after getting the urinalysis results he was putting me on an antibiotic to be on the safe side as I had high whites. Over three hours later when a nurse came in I asked about it and she first told me I had declined all the meds they offered. I said I didn’t decline the antibiotic. My appointment was with Dr. Mallory King on on January 27 at 11 am. Due to circumstances relating to weather I arrived at exactly 11:15 pm., 15 minutes late. The Saint Luke's Health System office procedure states "a grace period of 15 minutes will be permitted..." Taylor was at the neurology desk. She was typing and asked me to wait. I stood there waiting for three plus minutes while she continued to type. When she finished she asked my name. She looked me up and then told me I was late and it was beyond the 15 minute grace period. I asked to speak with the hospital administrator. I was told each clinic operates separately. I was told the Practice Manager would speak to me if I would wait. I asked for a copy of the hospital policy. The policy I was given is for Saint Luke's Ho

I have not utilized the Emergency Department, so I cannot review that. However, I give their ENT, Radiology, Admitting Staff, Information Desk, and even the Finance Department 5 stars. The facilities are so clean! The hospitality amongst the staff is unbelievably amazing. Check in has been smooth both times , no suprise paper work after I have filled out paperwork online. The Goppart Location nearby is also amazing as well.

My husband just arrived home AGAIN with his 96 yr old mother after being told over phone by dr office to go to ER, after 3+ hrs they still did not get in to see anyone, just sat in waiting room. You might think, OK, they are really busy if we had not been there 4 other times since 12/30/25 with her waiting for several hrs in waiting room or back in er room before seeing dr. Once they didn't catch that she had 3 fractured ribs, but also had to be sent to st lukes north after several hrs in freezing weather! ( we had to drive her) the other times we left were because my husband had chest pains, waited 3 hrs in waiting room (we finally left), again another time we were back in ER, they said after a a few hours, there was no room available, I recommend if you think you are really sick, try a

Absolutely my favorite hospital. My dad has been receiving cancer care at Saint Luke’s for 6 years, and he has surpassed all life expectancy thanks to their excellent care and God. I cannot say enough good things about how caring the staff and doctors are. My dad has so many people there who genuinely care for him. While this has been such a difficult journey, they have made this time in our lives a little brighter through their expertise, compassion, and support. Thank you to everyone at Saint Luke’s for everything you do.
