Saint Francis Hospital and Medical Center

This hospital is like living in PR. I never saw a “profesional” nurses threatening the clients like that. The front desk personal was joking around and the waiting time for an emergency is more than 10 hours. I’d have lived in other states and the seniors are important and they provide a really good care about them. But in this hospital they don’t care. My mother was sick and I explained to them that she had an embolism a month ago and they even care and left her waiting like it was a joke. Then came two nurses to take a blood work and they even known how to do it and my mother was crying because it was hurting her and they even care. Then we leave after 11 hours waiting without the doctor seen my mother because they told us that we probably would wait 6 more hours. So i took her to anothe

My mother has been in here since yesterday the nurses last night was great, her nurse for day shift was rude and disrespectful. I had to keep leaving work to make sure the things she needed would get done. I had to go through another nurse who already is dealing with her own patients help me with my mom. Then they wouldn’t get her no lunch so she had to wait until I got her to bring her something. This has been my worse experience ever

Operators pretend they can not hear you and hang up. Yet when when my son calls me from the hospital or I can anyone else in the world they have no issues hearing me. No readily available phone number for family liaison. When I was able to get and operator and get connected to that extension, it was an automated pick-up and you could talk for about 15 seconds. This place hides behind layers of obfuscation and outright B.S. This is the most frustrating and mis-managed facility I have ever encountered. I am calling Senator Blumenthal's office WRT this facility's total lack of service and the ability of families to get in touch with anyone that may possibly care and provide help. While my husband was on the step down unit and icu there were nurses and aids available. Once on a regular floor, there was almost no help available. It was extremely short staffed. At times no one responded to nurses call button Even when someone responded, It took a long time for help to actually come. Trinity Health needs to reevaluate their staffing practices.

My wife was scheduled for a procedure at St. Francis and having read some of the reviews, I was leery. People complained about rudeness of the staff, our experience was just the opposite. Everyone down to the orderlies were pleasant and caring. One 1 star review, actually praised them to the hilt, can't figure why just 1 star. So, overall, we spent one day there for surgical procedure, it went as scheduled and the staff was great. I have no qualms about going there again.
