I was scheduled for an initial evaluation at 7:45am at Hartford Healthcare Rehabilitation Network at 85 Seymour St. Due to bad weather that morning, I understand that delays can happen, but I was not called in until 8:05am I have been dealing with frozen shoulder for several months. During the evaluation, the therapist repeatedly questioned whether my condition was due to an injury, even after I explained multiple times that my primary care physician had already confirmed the diagnosis and referred me specifically for treatment. When I explained that my PCP agreed that my frozen shoulder was related to menopause; the therapist said that there are many contributing factors to frozen shoulder besides menopause.
