Sage Dental of Ocala Southwest

First time here and had a great visit! Everyone was super nice, quick and efficient full exam, helped me with my insurance, all of my questions were answered and was scheduled quickly for my follow up cleaning. I definitely recommend them!

I had wisdom tooth extractions and everyone there was very professional. I was very worried because of how deeply impacted my wisdom teeth were, but the surgeon was very confident that it would be no issue. I was in and out in 90 minutes. I can't recommend this place enough!

Moved to Ocala and had no problem with my last dentist. Sage Dental of Ocala would not schedule a cleaning until their exam process was complete. After no issues for several years and my last exam, Sage would not do the cleaning provided by my insurance company and determined that I could only get a Gingivitis cleaning for an additional $186.00. I explained that I appreciated all the diagnosis but just wanted the regular cleaning and they said no. They also stated that they would not work on my teeth with fillings if needed and would only continue with my treatment if I paid thousands of dollars for crowns on all of them. When you walk into their lobby, there is a large poster that says "We want to crown you" and they aren't kidding. Good Luck

Not happy with the way we were treated. Was advised of payment options, then told a much higher amount a second time. The work involved teeth extraction, etc. However, the work only be finalized sometime in January 2026. However, they seem to want the money but the work wouldn't be done until 2026.. so we left with an 8 page long summary of the work which totaled about $7,000. Not clear but they overcharged and the claim submitted was not paid by insurance. Now they expect to be paid for these funds that were not approved by insurance. They were not consistent about their pricing. Too confusing. Who needs to pay for dental work and then have to wait 3 months or so for completion! Don't recommend them unless you are prepared to spend several hours with nothing finalized and a humongous

Great system in place for getting new patients in for care. They performed Xray, pictures and offered cancer screening if you like. Detail the plan to move forward. So far looks like a great choice.
