Safeway Pharmacy

I enjoy purchasing fruit from Safeway in Livermore. I don't understand why the produce department is placing BELL PEPPERS near the Blackberries , Blueberries, Strawberries, Fruit Bowls & other delicious fruit. 🫐🫐🫐🫐 🫑🫑🫑🫑 🍓🍓🍓🍓 If my food comes in contact or is near Bell Peppers, I end up in the Emergency Room. I'm highly allergic to 🫑🫑. This weird theme has occurred at several locations. Safeway, can you PLEASE Stop mixing 🫑🫑with the fruit?

I had complained about 2yrs ago about how they don't care if your in pain and etc.... So I felt it was only fair to leave an updated review. The newer staff (meaning in the last yr to yr & 1/2)....is so much better! In fact they are amazing! They actually care about their guests. When I walk up they greet me by name every time, they always ask how my husband is doing or how his surgery went. The point is Safeway listened to our complaints and brought better more professional staff in and I want to say Thank you! We have noticed and it makes a bad day better when you go in there.

Had a little hiccup today with a steroid based inhaler medication with the VA. The pharmacist at Safeway was extremely helpful and I thank her for trying to resolve the confusing and complicated medical system known as VA healthcare. If you’re reading this, I appreciate your efforts!

Very friendly staff. They’ve helped me a couple times get miscommunications between docs and pharmacy and/or insurance sorted out in the time I got my shopping done.

This pharmacy does not tell the customer with a phone call that the medicine is ready to be picked up. Moreover, your medicine may not be ready even a few days after your doctor sends the prescription to the pharmacy - you come to get the medicine but the staff tell you to wait 15 minutes for it to be prepared.
