Safari Smiles Pediatric Dentistry

My daughter went to Safari Smiles for years but for insurance purposes, we recently switched to another office. She needed an extraction but the new office was not patient or kid friendly, her anxiety heightened and the tooth was never extracted. I immediately brought her back to Safari Smiles, and Dr. Choi made her feel at ease and was able to extract her tooth without an issue. I must also mention that we were able to be scheduled the same day I inquired about an appointment. Safari Smiles is worth every penny!

Colorful and bright walls. Visually, looks like it’s kid friendly, but unfortunately, I did not receive a kid friendly experience. Staff needs to be trained better with young children, and they need more toys and tools to use as a distraction. Choose to go here even though it was outside of insurance coverage specifically because I thought it would be a better experience for him. Any other adult dental office in the area would have been the same experience. I was yelled at because my newly 2 year old was playing with the door (because there was nothing else to play with) while I was doing my best to read and fill out paperwork. I’m so beyond happy with the staff from the front desk to the dr. Ten years ago I had a bad experience with the previous owner and never would have recommended this place. However the NEW staff in the last 7 years has renewed that. My daughter at a previous dentist was told to remove her front teeth, fill some others but due to previous fillings at this dentist she would not sit still as the previous experience she wasn’t given the chance to allow Novocain to actually start working so she wouldn’t sit still and they wanted her to go to the OR. Took her to safari smiles knowing it was under new management and much closer to home to have the Dr recommend leave the front teeth as they’re not bothering her and when they do we will address. Fill the cavities needed and place a crown under sedat

We have been going to this office for over 5 years. Consistently, the staff are professional and kind. Dr Choi makes sure parents understand treatment. They are efficient and organized.

Dr. Choi and the whole office has been absolutely wonderful through a tricky situation with one of my kids and two molars. They are kind, follow up if you have questions, and really care about their patients. I've been to both the Corning and Ithaca offices and had great experiences with the staff at both places.
