Sacred Heart Free Home

Sacred Heart Recovery Residence is part of Project Home. This place has saved me from being on the street sleeping on the sidewalk. I've got a chance to get training and look for employment. They are trying to get me housing. It's a step up from a drop in shelter but I love it. Former Respite home with old hospital rooms as mini dorms for 3 residents. Staff is very willing to help with resources. So easy to access BSL and SEPTA bus routes, fast food, gas, and groceries. This isn't a nursing home anymore! No nuns or nurses! It's a recovery residence now. A step up from a shelter. The cathedral is a community room now. Please these photos are really old.

I can’t even begging to describe the happiness and the appreciation for this home . The staff are the best , this place it’s filled with love , positivity, and most importantly it gives you hope to start over .. I was homeless nobody will take me in because of my dog , every place I when to deny me so I ended up homeless under the bridge I-76 . Till this angels from project home came and understood my situation and made sure they came back and got me as they say they will . Now am getting a second chance at life , my dog never been happier , I only been here less than a week and I can see the vibe and the love around me . I just want to say thank you to all the staff at sacred heart recovery residence, for making me feel welcome and comfort, for they understanding and compassion and neve

My Family And I Were Very Pleased On How You All Were So Very Pleasant With Everyone and This Place Is So Well Kept and Cleaned. And So Very Pleasant and none the less Peaceful. They are and still is a blessing to all of us who have or had a love one, I had my dad and all of the Male nurses, Mr. Steve, Mr.Charles the Sisters love, kindness and Prayers and Caring made me feel part of the Sacread Heart Family, my dad was with their care in 2012 a beautiful home to all. God bless them. I have given a five star and only one is showing, my apologies💖

This is the best place ever .. everyone was so nice helpful caring . It was so hard to me to put my dad anywhere but with me because I wanted him home and I take care of him but my family thought it was best he go there . I was so angry upset but it was the best choice and I was so pleased with everything it's such a peaceful place . They took excellent care of my dad .
