Really disappointed. Short version: Great experience with Dr Sullivan. The front of the shop - very disappointed and now I'm concerned about patient privacy. Long version: Had an appointment on the 22nd of July (2025) for glasses and contacts. We ordered a trial pair of contacts to make a later decision. Delivery date came and went. No contact from the office. Aug 11th I contact the office to inquire about my trial pair and am told they are at the office waiting for me. Fine, whatever, I'll be right there. Walk in the office to fine an ID and insurance card from another patient sitting on the counter with no one around. No patient, no staff. ID and insurance card not down by the computer, but up on top of the counter with the other literature and business cards for patients. Extremely

Dr. Sullivan has been incredibly helpful on my journey to fixing my eyes. LASIK caused me severe dry eye/eye pain and night time distortions and Dr. Sullivan provided me multiple options as well as a referral to a lasik specialist. After only a couple months my quality of life has improved dramatically and we haven’t even begun the eye drop treatment he recommends. Very rare to find a doctor that is smart AND listens to you.

Dr. Sullivan blatantly refused to work with my daughter because he was “uncomfortable” working with deaf patients, and my daughter had to leave the office without being served. He insisted on us working thru an interpreter at a later date even though we did not request one (and had never needed one for countless eye exams and consultations). It was my teenage daughter’s first time being discriminated against on the basis of her disability, and it was very disheartening and dismaying to see this even in 2022 in progressive Maryland. We won’t be back here because we don’t want to work with a doctor that holds such discomfort working with people with disabilities. Dr Sullivan was very empathetic, patient, informative and gave my 88 year young mom lots if TLC. Would HIGHLY recommend him and this practice! Great patient service from start to finish!
