This doctor deserves the best recognition Dr. Gbenedio is one of the best emergency room doctors to help children. My daughter was nervous prior to getting stitches but she was super friendly and kept her calm while helping her. She's really awesome. The entire staff are amazing and kind. I highly recommend this hospital Bayonne residents

My ER visit at RWJBarnabas Health in Bayonne satellite was extremely disappointing. I came in for nonstop vomiting, nausea, headache, and stomach pain. Despite active symptoms, I was not reassessed for long periods of time. Staff were loud, joking, and discussing lunch while patients waited. My IV fluids finished and no one checked on me until I got up myself. I sat for over an hour still nauseous and with a headache. When I asked what I was waiting for, communication was dismissive, and the doctor rolled her eyes at me. I was ultimately discharged quickly with Zofran only, still in pain, and my discharge paperwork inaccurately listed my stomach pain as “unspecified” even though I clearly showed where it was. I left feeling ignored, unheard, and inadequately cared for, yet my insurance w

I found the ER experience to be professional and efficient One should always plan for a day in the ER… it’s never a quick experience. When you go into a place like this their mission is to SAVE A LIFE not make sure you’re happy and return (the goal is that you don’t return lol) There are many diagnostic tests that must be done, periods of observation and a pecking order . If you are not on the brink of death, the person who IS is taken care of first. That just makes sense Five stars for survival ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ People may feel ignored, and that is fair because ER care is never customarily explained but after about my 3rd or 4th time (unfortunately) in different parts of the country I consider myself seasoned They’ll do everything possible to make sure you survive and the rest is extra. Horrible patient care, unprofessional, rushed was not even allowed to explain what was going on and why I came to the ER when explaining my pain level and location the Doctor clearly said focus on one part only I can’t treat you for everything. Not once did he ask about my medical conditions, medications, allergies, which I had to let them know, the nurse left me mid conversation to offer another patient a bandaid and didn’t complete the questions I had to be asked. Then another nurse came said Dr ordered Tylenol, mind you my pain level was at 10 and took me to get X-rays, he then proceeded to give me and prescribed the same medications I told him I’m allergic and then when I told him he started laughing and gave me discharge documents to the wrong pharmacy and the medication I once again

Generic RWJBarnabas review… Absolute rip off and scam. They told me to come back in a month for another shot so they booked me for a 15 minute visit when I came back they told me they didn’t need me to take the shot and that I shouldn’t do it. they proceed to charge my insurance $700 and me of that $70 for the visit. Not to mention charging me $2000 for the initial shot in 45 minute visit the month prior.
