I recently had a procedure at Roper, and I cannot begin to express how positive my experience was. From the moment I walked in the front door until my discharge, everything exceeded my expectations. The nursing staff was kind, compassionate, caring, and informative. I was there long enough to witness several shift changes, and throughout the entire time I was consistently kept updated about everything. My procedure was delayed, but the amount of communication I received made it completely manageable and reassuring. I was also placed in a private room before and after my procedure, which was very comfortable for both me and my family. I would honestly recommend this hospital to anyone who expects excellent service and truly compassionate care.

My wife went here for heart surgery. It went well & we thank Dr.Ross for what he did. In the ICU, my wife had the care of amazing nurses, Ryan & Catherine along with PA Madison! Down on the 3rd floor, again my wife had great nurses & 2 that really stood out were Emma & Mary Hope. My wife had great care from so many people at RoperStFrancis & I wish we could thank them all personally! They were all great!

Angela & Rachel went above and beyond From entrance to sign in reception professional with little wait time Angela talk me through it was my second time this time with meds(which I didn’t think helped) nevertheless I followed her instructions allowed her to do what she is trained to do (cover eyes ) which I believed worked and tah dah a successful MRI ! Oh my God They were absolutely the best!

I will only go to a Roper Hospital or Emergency Room. The care I get is above anything I have experienced at other hospitals. The Nurses and Doctors are caring and the PA’s too! They all take time to listen to what you have to say. It’s important for a patient to trust the people who has their life in their hands. I’ve had more than my share of surgeries due to arthritis. Dr Murray replaced my left hip and my right knee. Dr. Price replaced my right and left shoulders. Dr Brooker has worked on ny right elbow and both hands. Dr. Stiechen stabilized my spine with a back surgery and two fusion! Need I say more! Except to say thank you to everyone who has taken care of me!

We arrived at the Roper downtown ER around 8:15 PM. Were greeted promptly and with a smile. We were called back within 8 minutes and in a room. Nurses and aides were very kind, thorough and took my medical complaint seriously. The doctor came in and listened and we all agreed what the issue was and formulated a plan. Transport to CT was done by a very nice young man and the CT technician was funny but thoroughly helpful. I passed the kidney stone in the ER and No pain medication was needed although it was ready to be administered. The doctor was attentive and very caring. We were discharged around 10:00 PM with instructions and a printout of the visit and what to look for if I needed to return. This is actually different atmosphere than the Moncks Corner Roper ER and staff where they were
