Dr Byrne and her family practice are caring and thorough. This practice is not the typical office where you’re greeted with a lap top and 15 minutes you’re out. The western and eastern medical approach is overall amazing and I trust this kind of healing modalities. Feeling so blessed to be part of this incredible group. It’s been my one staple in the current medical world we live in and feeling comfortable and safe with my health care providers gives me piece of mind.

Our year-long journey with Root Family Medicine in Norwood, Massachusetts has been nothing short of exceptional. Dr. Byrne, Kelsey, and Jesse consistently provide outstanding care, supporting our decisions and fostering a positive healthcare experience. The entire practice radiates warmth, with Haley greeting us with a genuine smile that truly makes us feel welcome. What sets Root Family Medicine apart is the lack of pressure to opt for the most aggressive treatments for our kids. We spent a year on the waitlist before getting in with our first son, and it was well worth it. You will not find an another practice like this in our area. The patience and comfort we've found at Root Family Medicine make it a truly special place for our family's healthcare.

That someone left a one star review without any explanation as to why is puzzling, because Dr. Byrne is amazing. She has two things that I've found many doctors lack: compassion and a willingness to admit what she doesn't know. She doesn't dictate or condescend, she has never been dismissive of my concerns, and she sees me as a whole person, as opposed to a collection of unrelated systems. She has always treated me with respect and great warmth. This practice is excellent and I feel lucky to have found it.

I had an interest in Root Family Medicine for years. I had a feeling this place would be a perfect fit for my family. They unfortunately don't take my insurance anymore but they take my childrens insurance. We had some issues with the waiting list and I had changed my phone number, but my children finally got the opportunity to he seen there. We had been waiting 2 years. It was definitely worth the wait! I was having second thoughts prior to the appointment due to the fact they charge a membership fee now, but it is affordable when broken into monthly payments. I would still rather not have to pay a membership fee but I was very pleased with the facility. Dr. Byrne's practice is a rare find: a functional medicine practice. Dr. Byrne is knowledgeable in both in western and holistic medicine. She takes her time with patients to dig into what's going on and then review appropriate courses of action. I've truly appreciated her caring and individualized approach. Given all of that it's understandable that she and her colleagues are very busy!
