We had a very disappointing experience at our recent 2-year visit at this pediatric office. The nurse struggled with basic toddler procedures, including weighing and a finger stick, which caused unnecessary distress. Our daughter was left bleeding everywhere and crying for nearly 20 minutes with no staff checking in (I had to run and call for help). When she became so upset she vomited, no one offered help cleaning it up.we were left sitting with a pool of vomit beneath my feet the whole appointment. The exam room was not child-proofed, and our total wait time was over 40 minutes. The pediatrician herself was kind, but the overall visit did not feel like appropriate pediatric care, and the experience fell far below the standard we expected.

My daughter has been seeing Julie Rome. At our appointment last week, she was unable to provide a helpful answer or resources. She could have offered to get back to me after researching the issue if she wasn't sure. Expected more from a doctor. Also, gave unsolicited parenting advice as opposed to medical advice. It was awkward because I think she knew that I was perplexed by her response, so she just repeated what she said as if it added new information.

Doctor's are good and care is good, however if you make an appointment, expect to wait 45 minutes every time you go. They don't know how to stay on time or they just way over book their appointments. It's ridiculous. I would switch ilto a new doctor if my kids were not almost done with pediatrics.

Best doctors, best nurses, best staff! My daughter is now four years old and has been going to RHP since we were discharged from the hospital after her birth. I've never had a negative experience with ANYONE at RHP. They are literally the best! We are grateful and thankful for EVERYONE at Rocky Hill Pediatrics!

I saw Julie Rome because I felt very ill and was complaining of a bad cough that made it hard to breathe & created a tightness in my chest. She did not seem concerned at all and did not want to do anything to help my breathing because she said a bad cough is part of the process of getting sick, and it would fix itself in a few days. Her only recommendation for treatment was Mucinex. When I was adamant about finding a way to fix or help my breathing, she became passive aggressive. I would not recommend her. However, I would recommend Dr. Schwab, she is amazing.
