Rockway Community Pharmacy

I transferred my medication here for a better price and saw that they’re supposed to be open today. i went by 45 min after opening and they were completely closed with the gate down. the sign on the front even said they would be open at 10 today. now i can’t get my medication filled before i leave for vacation. this is irresponsible and unprofessional behavior by a pharmacy, leaving people with no access to their necessary medication. i’ll be trying to transfer my prescription elsewhere.

Since Walgreen pharmacy no longer takes my insurance, transferred my prescription here. I should have done it sooner. I always thought that the larger chain pharmacies would get my meds in faster (no one ever has my dose in stock). I was wrong. All the other pharmacies in the area said it would take them at least 3-5 days to get my dose. Rockway had it the next day. On top of that, the proprietors are lovely people. The pharmacist was most helpful over the phone and welcomed me by name the very first time I entered the store. Introduced me to everyone working there. Such personalized service. They definitely will get all my prescriptions.

On the door of the pharmacy, and on the google website it says open from 10:30 am to 7 pm. Obviously this is not true, as every time I need to obtain my medicine, they are always closed on the morning. I called twice to see if they were open, so I didn’t have to walk there in vain. No answer both of the time. The time is 11:36 AM and they are still not opened. If you want your medicine (like I DESPERATELY need it right now) I don’t suggest going to this pharamacy. It’s a pity because I loved going here, the woman behind the counter is usually very nice. What a pity.

They don’t open until well past 10:30am (at least 11:30 or later at variable times). Do not recommend if you need medications or ability to pick up packages in a reasonable time frame.
