Teamwork is something that people often overllook outside of athletic teams, however; when individuals work together as a team it's incredibly obvious. Especially when the individuals involved are passionate about what they do. The team that performed my TEE procedure today deserve five stars as a team and also as individuals. RN Michele Suarez, Dr. Mandal, Frank (CRNA), and Amanda (Echo Tech) were each top-notch in their invididual roles and in their function as a team. Each informed me precisely about what they were about to do and why. Every question that I had was answered and great care was taken in every step of the procedure. On Monday 2/9/2026 I went in for a gallbladder surgery. Once I was brought back to the procedure area there was 2 lovely ladies Mary and Pat M and they are really the best in the pre-procedure and post-procedure area. They were always there to make sure I was comfortable with everything. They also have a sense of humor which was fantastic. If you are scheduling in this hospital I really hope they will be the ones who take care of you. With the Anesthesia Team for the recovery room Annette was also great. Everything was all done fantastic!!!! I had a great experience.

My mom’s care team at this hospital was spectacular!! From the day she got in to discharge, they were great. Special thanks to Brooke, Pete, Cathy, Kristy, Nada, Gia, Leomie, Ryan, Stacy, Sarmite , Anthony, Naz, Natasha, and more. I can’t remember everyone’s names but I tried my best ❤️ everyone was so attentive and they all made my mom comfortable. Thank you! Almost forgot, Thank you to Dr.Shah, he’s amazing ⭐️ Josette is really a superstar. She’s one of a kind. Truly a blessing!

I was trying to see my father today and to drop some stuff he requested. I had tried to enter through the side door next to the emergency room like I have for the past 2 days. No signage on those doors stating no entry or prohibited entry or entry for emergencies only. I proceeded to the emergency room to inquire about it security guard Trevor G stated I wasn’t supposed to. He had an attitude so I just walked out and tried again. He proceeded to come out after me and stated I told you you have to use the main entrance, I told him I refuse to and I’ll just wait until some one exits. He started to belittle me. On Monday ,1/12, I had a total knee replacement at RWJ Hamilton. From my reception in pre OP with Tharani and Helen , To my procedure nurse Ewa and my anesthesia nurse Olena in the OR to Grace in Post Procedure …I was in excellent hands …each new gal along the way treated me with care , kindness and expertise! Having stayed overnight I got to meet Michael going out and returning Tuesday AM and Erik who was so helpful and caring throughout the night. The nurses and staff on the ortho floor were quick to respond and meet my concerns. Each one of you were part of my “angel” team who made my procedure a pleasant experience at RWJ Hamilton!!!Thank you, Thank you , Thank you! Cathy McQuade
