I could not have chosen a better doctor to be in charge of my surgery. Dr Kerr was so positive, patient, and informative. It made me feel so comfortable the day of surgery to know that I was in the best hands and that was proven so many times both before surgery and after it. He is the reason I have more time to continue to enjoy being with my babies and my family. Thank you isn’t even enough for what he did for me.

Dr. Kerr is the most incredible Doctor and Surgeon. I met him in the Emergency Room at Huntington Hospital. He and his team showed my family and I the most compassion, ease and understanding during a traumatic experience. I’m thankful for Dr. Kerr to be at Northwell and Huntington Hospital. He saved my life. Post surgery appointments he always takes his time, answers every question detailed and is reassuring. I wish every Doctor could be like him. I couldn’t give enough positive stars. He’s one of a kind.

Dr Kerr seems like a great guy, compassionate, and very personable. His staff on the other hand is completely incompetent, and uncaring. I was scheduled to have lower back surgery by Dr Kerr in late January of this year. I was looking forward to being finally out of pain. I went for pre surgical testing, received medical clearance from my primary care Dr., all good to go. 2 days before the scheduled surgery I received a letter from my health insurance company stating that the surgery would not be covered due to the fact that Dr. Kerr's staff neglected to send my insurance company information that they requested weeks before the surgery. Surgery cancelled! Dr. Kerr's staff seemed unfazed when I called them and said they sent the required info. Obviously someone is not being truthful. Dr.

I'm sad to leave this review because Dr. Kerr is a great doctor. He was very kind, and he took the time to listen to me and go over all the details about my condition very thoroughly. Unfortunately, his staff are the worst medical staff I've ever encountered. First of all, they refuse to answer the phone. You have to call over and over and over again until, hopefully, they get so frustrated that they finally pick up the phone. Or, you have to leave a message and wait several days to get a call back. Secondly, they are incredibly rude on the phone and in person. I was given an urgent referral to Dr. Kerr from the hospital, and the staff would not take my referral seriously. I was in excruciating pain and had to wait several weeks to get an appointment, and even then they would only let me s

Dr. Kerr is extremely arrogant and has no compassion. I saw him 5 years ago. He recommended back surgery but he also gave me the option of a brace. I took the brace. He was fine with that. I have chronic issues but am completely mobile and functional. A few weeks ago I moved a certain way and something pulled in my lower back.The pain was excruciating. I couldn’t walk, move, and was bedridden. Trying to get an appointment was impossible. I agreed to see his Nurse Practitioner but the earliest appointment was in a month. I was told the NP would call me in a week. They give the specific day and said I could get a call as late a 7:30 pm.
