Robert E Bush Naval Hospital

My experience at the Robert E Bush Hospital is generally positive! The er is very smooth. I had to go there a couple of times and they were very nice and competent… besides some Corpsmen at the check in desk being a bit cheeky, sometime. L&D was good. Docs, midwives and nurses are generally good. I only wish they were more organized and do more trained for the corpsmen that work at the L&D department. Had quite a few blood works done here and never had a bruise on my arm! The pharmacy works pretty good too, in my opinion. They are busy but trying their best!

I don't do well in hospital environments because of some trauma of other hospital experiences. This was the BEST experience I've ever had and im so thank full for the nurses and doctors. Thank you. 10/10 recommend

I have always had positive experiences from the doctors to the pharmacy and all staff!! They are always professional, efficient, knowledgeable, and friendly. I’ve been going to 29 Palms NH since we first moved on base in 2015 and have continued through my husband’s retirement. A couple of years ago. I will continue and always appreciate everyone who works there.

I really have appreciated how well the primary care providers are. They have been helpful and informative. The only reason for not giving a 5☆ is because an ER doc tried to diagnose me with something that could not have been more wrong. And the Radiology/ XRAY department was not helpful.

This place has the most red tape and bureaucratic inefficiency of any institution I have ever interacted with. It seems like they are terminally understaffed. My family and I are yet to go to them with any given thing, even if it is urgent, and not have a weeks long lead time for receiving care. Even the emergency room has this issue. I do not contempt any of the people that are trying to make this place functional, but it consistently fails to provide the people of the base the most basic functions of a hospital. It is as though there is an unspoken rule that anyone looking for Healthcare is precluded to going out into town to an urgent care or ER and just hoping that tricare will decide to cover their costs before they are erroneously sent to a collections agency.
