I cannot say enough positive things about this dr and practice. He did my total reverse shoulder replacement surgery. Before the surgery he took time to answer my questions, I never felt like he was rushing me. He did his best to explain and ease my fears. My surgery went smoothly and I have been amazed as I recover. Everyone at this practice has been kind. At the surgery center I could not have asked for a better team. They all treated me with kindness and respect. People are amazed at how well I am doing only a month after surgery. I highly recommend Dr Gillis.

I really thought I'd found a good doctor. He might be a good doctor but part of being one is having concern about their patients comfort. I had left knee replacement on the 9th. I was in agony. He doesn't seem to care because I sat and have cried everyday since then due to uncontrollable pain. I have PTSD about going to the doctor. If id have known this agony was coming I wouldn't have done it. If you can't trust your surgeon to make sure your comfortable after a major painful surgery then hes not the right one. Never in my life have I had a doctor act like pain was no big deal. 5 mgs of oxy after you had your knee worked over is NOT pain management. NEVER trust this guy, let’s sum it up by him doing more damage then good with my knee surgery and letting particles of my meniscus in my knee causing more pain, then months after of me complaining with something isn’t right, he’s last words out of frustration was IT IS WHAT IT IS MR.REALE. Those words still remain with me and it’s been over 2 years and I’m still in pain but all he wants to do is an x-ray.. Calls himself a doctor.. Wish I went to Hershey where the actual doctor’s care on how you recover and know what they are doing, still thinking about it but I’m only 29.. I can’t run, jog, do sports that I absolutely loved, I’m a emotional wreck when I see people doing sports, I miss basketball, baseball, soccer… I can’t bend down, squat or anything without pain anymore. DR. Gillis is an absolute awesome dr. and surgeon . Neither him nor Dr. McBeth are hard on the eyes. Not a bad thing to see as you are drifting off into la la land. i know this is a review for Dr. Gillis but I have to give Kudos to Dr. McBeth. Along with what I call the dream team, He was professional, courteous, and very caring right along with Dr. Gillis. Thank you very much for ALL your services. Everything minus the nurse, in the ER, were also extremely caring and very professional. i can not say in words how you made me feel up to and thru the surgery Anyone involved with this has my heartfelt thanks. Excellent surgeon and attitude!!! He did my total shoulder replacement and it went and is going awesome!!! Also the nurses and everyone that was involved was a 10/10 thank you!!
