I wouldn’t recommend this pharmacy to my worst enemy—specifically because of one staff member. The man behind the counter in the chair is rude, unprofessional, condescending, and flat-out hostile. He talks down to women with a nasty attitude, as if needing medication is an inconvenience to him. I’ve already filed a formal complaint with the New York State Board of Pharmacy. When I called to follow up on a prior authorization—not the first time—he became so aggressive it triggered my anxiety. I was genuinely shaken. He even pulled up the wrong patient file, and when my doctor’s office corrected him, he lashed out at them too instead of owning his mistake. Called to speak to a pharmacist regarding 3 medications I wanted to inquire about and their interactions. The pharmacist was extremely rude and urgent to get to the “point”. I understand being a pharmacist can be a stressful job but if you’re going to be condescending and rude you should probably have a different job profession. The CVs pharmacy down the street is much friendlier. We’re inquiring about medications that we take which may or may not harm us and we are entitled to ask a pharmacist questions especially in regards to their interactions. Sure we can go to our doctors who prescribe us but sometimes we cannot get a hold of them and when we don’t, we redirect to a pharmacist. Overall Rude and a waste of my time- and I’m sure his too.
