Riverwood Center

My family member has lived here for many years and has mostly had great care!! There are always a few bad apples no matter where you go but I find if you communicate the problem is solved very quickly. We have had some changes for the good in caring way. Our unit manager is fully engaged and she is always available and trying her best to improve the lives and care of the patients! Our day nurse Natalie is always smiling and putting her patients first and our evening nurse Patrice runs a tight ship and again puts Her patients first. Since our new administration has come in I am very confident that my family members needs are being met.

One thing I can say I learned is through communication and the dedication towards love anything is achievable. Updated 8.5.25** Good morning to all. I come to Riverwood almost every Saturday to see my friend. She’s a wonderful woman …strong, resilient, peaceful, godly, and really just enjoy to be around. Just to give an update, Riverwood has called me, spoke with me, and updated me with everything in my post and on my survey reviews as I leave the facility. They have done training with their staff on due diligence on cleanliness in the rooms, turnover of the beds that are vacant, they have had a company come out and

This building is extremely clean. When you first walk in, you are met with an instant refreshing, clean smell which is very inviting. When I visit, the employees are helpful, they go out of their way to ask if you need assistance. The Administrator Samantha is very engaged with the residents and the employees. The business office employees Diane and Barbara are very helpful. The nurses are very sweet to their residents. Just a good hearted facility and nice nursing home. .

As a visitor visiting a patient the experience was great. Nurses and staff was great as well. I wanted to get something to drink from vending machine but it was for staff only. Do the facility have vending machines for visitors to use. Thank you.

I reached out to the director today to follow up on questions I had since we last spoke on concerns about my dad who is a resident. She left me a voicemail, I left her one on return. She says she never got the voicemail. Since I never heard back after leaving my voicemail I called her today to follow up on that, and other questions I had. This led to her telling me that I don’t care about the goal of improving my dad’s health. No one who has a resident that they love deserves such an ignorant thing to say. The whole reason she left the voicemail was from a long prior meeting I had with her over concerns in regard to my dad’s health and treatment at this facility. She didn’t have the answer right away in the meeting to one of my questions and said she would look into it and follow up. That’
