My experience at Riverwalk Physical Therapy was exceptional. The facility was clean with state of the art equipment. Staff and assistants are always helpful and kind. I went to Riverwalk Physical Therapy for rehab due to a fracture of a humerus bone that caused loss of motions with my entire right arm. Larry Pemberton was my primary therapist. Larry was amazing. He was professional, knowledgeable, caring and kind. He listened well and easy to talk to. His ability to combine expert techniques with genuine compassion made me feel cared-for and comfortable. After slipping on the ice and twisting my leg I started PT at Riverwalk with Larry and Lauren. I exercise regularly and push myself with HIIT classes because it is good for Parkinsons. We discussed my pains each visit. I had to give up a lot of exercises and concentrate on strengthening my injured leg. We tried numerous exercises that would help alleviate my knee pain. They varied week to week but in the end I was able to return to HIIT classes. They listened to what I wanted to do and designed exercises to focus on getting me back on track. Not everyone is interested in jumping rope at 77 yrs old and going to HIIT classes but I feel that it is important to me to halt the Parkinsons progression which I could not do with that knee pain. After years of struggling with pain caused by injuries from hockey, the Riverwalk team helped tremendously with my rehabilitation which included providing stretches for neck & shoulder & back pain, numbness, etc. With consistent treatment and home exercises, the process has been extremely effective in strengthening my body as a whole. Riverwalk Physical Therapy is truly wonderful. Everyone here is so kind and welcoming. We've known them since they first opened this center, and they were incredibly helpful and knowledgeable when my dad had his total hip replacement.
