Riverside Pediatrics

Glad we found Dr. Pilz after our first beloved pediatrician retired unexpectedly. He’s been really knowledgeable and approachable. His tone is encouraging and comforting. When we’ve discussed concerns with him he’s always made us feel at ease. The front desk staff are nice, too. I’ve had some mixed experiences with other staff. Nothing negative per se, but just some mistaken information given out that we’ve had to navigate but humans make mistakes sometimes. Would still recommend overall.

We’ve been so happy with the care our daughter has received at Riverside Pediatrics. Dr. Elwell, Dr. Pilz, Dr. Sherry have all seen my daughter at different times and are all professional, experienced and kind. The entire support staff is always great as well and can accommodate same day appointments when something urgent pops up.

Dr. Pilz has cared for our 5 children for 15 years. He’s extremely patient, kind and attentive to each individual need and personality. One of our children has extensive medical needs and Dr. Pilz has been walking through that journey with us. His staff is fantastic and gentle. We can’t say enough about how awesome Riverside Pediatrics is!!

I cannot even begin to say how WONDERFUL Riverside Pediatrics is! My daughter was this year and has been provided the best care. Dr Pilz and PA-C Elwell are amazing and attentive to my child's needs. The staff at RP is also very friendly and pleasant. The facility is very clean and they always make sure to fit us in for an appointment if needed. I am so glad that we are a patient here!

If I could give negative stars, I would. If I had continued to allow Dr. Pilz to care for my children, we would likely have lost one of them-if not both. Two of my children had a severe medical condition that could have been caught with a simple blood test. When I voiced my concerns, I was made to seem like I was being unreasonable and that my concerns were not valid. He also never laid a hand on either one of my children, and still put on the after visit summaries that I had no concerns and that he had physically checked them out. I filed a claim with the medical board and unfortunately it seems as though doctors stick together and he faced no repercussions-and I’m not the first to file by any means. I am in contact with many families who have had complaints about Dr. Pilz, and as soon as
