Dr Gilmer is outstanding. He takes time, listens to concerns and does a thorough exam looking for all issues and explaining any options. Also very personable. Like a lot of people I transferred down from up North and I had a good ophthalmologist up there but I feel Dr Gilmore is a cut above. He has a great supporting cast as well. Availability was also excellent, within 2 weeks of my first call I had a full examination and follow up laser surgery for a cataract problem performed in the office. If you're looking for eye care look no further you won't find better.

Number one priority for me is if it’s clean…AND IT WAS!! Sherry at the front desk was so sweet as was the assistant! Very courteous, attentive, professional, and just made me feel welcomed. Dr. Gilmer you ARE AMAZING! His bedside manner is top notch!! I had a ton of questions and he answered them ALL plus some that weren’t even what he was seeing me for. I will only go to him for my eye care. I wish he was a provider that I could see for it ALL!! He’s that intelligent. Keep up the awesome work y’all.

I go with my mom to all her appointments , so I can see him and his beautiful smile . He is always patient with her and takes time to explain things to her she don’t understand. He is a very good doc and I would highly recommend.

Recently, I experienced uncomfortable eye pressure. Thinking it was my glasses , went to an eye Doctor Who did a little bit extra testing and found some damage to my back retina muscles in a scan. I decided to follow up with an ophthalmologist. This doctor. took the same tests, told me the same things she told me , Except he looked me up and down , and said, “I’d be pretty shocked if you didn’t have diabetes”. So thinking that my sugar was causing problems I got an A1c test only to find out that my sugar is perfect. Needless to say, I won’t be going back to him again and didn’t show for my follow up. The eyeglass doctor told me all I needed to know. By the way, Doc, it turned out to be just allergies, which is why you got two stars because you recommended some good over-the-counte

Everyone goes Beyond and really take care of you. I missed appointment and they act like nothing's wrong. Also the doctor is the most detail I Have ever had. Very personable and Is knowledgeable. They're more than a five star eye doctor. They care and go overboard to take care of you. Very good Employees Doctor keep it up you're fantastic
