I strongly recommend staying away from this dental office. There is absolutely no sense of etiquette or professionalism here. The person responsible for cleaning teeth does a very poor job and shows no courtesy to patients. The lack of care and respect makes for an uncomfortable and frustrating experience. Save yourself the trouble and look for a dental practice that values both proper treatment and patient respect.

Total sham. Before he even looked in my mouth he told me I’d need expensive treatments and should schedule to get implants. Tried to prescribe me antibiotics. For what? I’m unsure. Barely cleaned my teeth.

I can’t recommend Dr. Shalmi and his team enough. I came in with several cavities but from start to finish, Dr. Shalmi handled everything with precision and care. He may not be overly chatty, but he lets his work speak for itself—and the results are excellent. Every procedure was done thoroughly, efficiently, and with minimal discomfort. I truly appreciated his focused approach. Maria, his assistant, is amazing—friendly, attentive, and always on top of everything. She makes you feel comfortable and cared for the moment you walk in. I had a terrible experience with Dr. Shalmi and his office manager, Linda, at Riverdale Dental Care. The issues began when the office mishandled my insurance claim, causing a significant amount of stress and financial loss. Instead of taking accountability for their mistake, it felt as though they sought to recoup their loss by cutting corners on my dental care. Dr. Shalmi placed a temporary bond on what was supposed to be a permanent crown, which ultimately failed when the tooth fell out. I returned to the office and explained what had happened, and I was told that the tooth could still be saved. They charged me $1,600 out of pocket to redo the crown—this time using permanent cement. However, the tooth has been hurting ever since. Now, I am forced to seek treatment with another dentist,
