River Forest Animal Hospital

I found a very friendly cat in an alley on the South Side of Chicago. My vet wouldn’t see him because they’ve been too busy. River Forest Animal Hospital scheduled me for that day, and even saw me early. The room was made for cats with a little basket to hide in, a climbing tree, and window ledges. They were so nice and helpful. Excellent experience for my new baby!!

This place is amazing! My cat has a lot to say to them and they are so gentle with her! You can tell that they care, genuinely! Staff is so pleasant to deal with, and the Dr's are attentive. I'm thankful I found River Forest Animal Hospital!

My dog had surgery on Monday and everything went well. I was able to speak to a technician prior to leaving her for surgery. She was able to answer all my questions. And so did Dr. Thomas, who gave me a call once my dog was out of surgery. Everyone at the desk is very friendly always!

We had a great experience as new clients and will continue care and treatment of our cats with River Forest Animal Hospital. The entire staff was wonderful, vet tech Mars was so great with our three kittens and Dr Naas was so incredibly warm and knowledgeable. She provided us with great education as first time cat owners, and has a wonderful bedside manner with pets and people.

My dogs must really like this place because we're there every other week. But jokes aside this is a very well run facility. We never have to wait more than a day to get an appointment. The staff is very efficient but also super friendly. The docs are attentive, great and always recommend the most cost effective ways of treatment. My boys actually drag me in because they know they'll get showered with cuddles and treats.
