Rise Above Physical Therapy

I recently underwent shoulder surgery and was referred to Rise Above for my rehabilitation. From the very first session, I was impressed by the level of care and expertise provided by the team. My therapist took the time to thoroughly assess my condition, explain the recovery process in clear terms, and tailor a personalized plan that addressed my pain, mobility limitations, and strength goals without overwhelming me. The clinic itself is clean, well-equipped, and the staff is always friendly and encouraging, making what could have been a daunting experience feel supportive and motivating.

As a 62-year old female, I wanted to do everything possible to prepare for my total knee replacement prior to surgery. That was my first appointment with Mike and his team. My original intake assessment with Mike was professional and comprehensive. I am now working with Mike for physical therapy post surgery. This is an amazing practice and the genuine warmth and concern from all staff members is beyond measure. To say that a total knee replacement is painful would be a major understatement, but Mike is so kind, generous with his time and encouraging for each improvement I make that it makes this process much more bearable. If you are seeking therapy that is legitimate (I.e., the staff actually knows what they are doing) and includes kindness and empathy—look no further than Rise Above.

Great facility with personable and experienced therapists. With my injury, I was skeptical that therapy was the answer, believing that surgery was probably needed. Mike and his crew guided me through the process in an organized and effective manner, allowing me to gain full recovery and a return to all normal activities. The facility is unique in that it is connected to the local YMCA and has access to their gym equipment, pool, and other amenities.

I have been having lower back and hip pain. As with everyone my age I have arthritis in my back. I started with Michael at Rise Above about 3 weeks ago. The practice is adjacent to the YMCA and has use of their equipment. Everyone at Rise Above is professional, attentive and personable. Thanks to Michael my pain level has decreased to where I can function. I do the excercizes Michael prescribed and they are extremely effective. My husband who also has arthritis in his back has started PT with Michael. I highly recommend this PT practice.
