Riddle Hospital

There is a security check upon arrival, metal detectors and all. The triage nurse and staff were great; blood work was done almost immediately, but the person had to wait in the waiting room until a bed was ready, not a long wait, thank goodness — less than 1 hour in the ER waiting room. Both ER waiting room bathrooms were horrible — and smelled bad. The ER waiting room floors were very grimy/sandy/dirty. Bloody gauze on the floor, bathroom trash not emptied. Riddle Memorial ER has changed since the last time I had to bring someone here; there is no care for sanitation or cleanliness in their waiting room that is. 👀Great nurses and doctors, great care, 5-star care, 0 Zero-star ER waiting room sanitation.

I went to th er today. Best experience ive had in a hospital. From.thevperson at the front counter directing me to every single person in the er to work together, they made me feel comfortable, listened and explained everything perfectly. Every single person I encountered couldn't have done better job or have better people skills. Thank you

This is my third time back to riddle and this time for an ultrasound, i am pregnant. The receptionist for this office is rude. 3101 I think it is. The first time i was at this office she was short and snappy with me, but I dismissed it because people can have bad days. Now this second time she wasn’t even at her desk to check anyone in, and me and about five other people were all waiting to be checked in for a good 15 minutes before anyone came in. I was the first one in, and two other couples came in after. They were all called in before me, which is hardly fair but since no one was in to see the order we came in, of course it wasn’t organized. While we were waiting we heard a lot of the staff laughing and talking. Not once did anyone come out to greet us or mention delays. There are n

Just had lumber fusion on the 17th came home yesterday so happy to be home, I miss every single one of the 4th floor staff ! From morning to Night, (overnight). Not to mention the new wing is beautiful, warm and comfortable! There are so many people I want to express my gratitude to. Everyone that walked in my beautiful private room was wonderful! And I do mean everyone! Food service, Kim from orthopedic, My nurses , nurses tec. And my Angel that got me comfortable enough to sleep! If I could remember every name I would write them . I do mean everyone was amazing! Thank you all for getting me through a rough time! 💕❤️

My service there was absolutely horrible. I most certainly believe that my race played a part in the lack of professional care that I received. I came in the hospital while I was in labor. I was 8cm dilated. My obgyn was already called. I refused to receive an epidural. The nurse (Alyson) was speaking over me to another nurse about what she had done that weekend while I was in excruciating pain and she did this continuously. One of my support people had to suggest that she keep the conversation professional. The person who delivered my baby disregarded my husband’s request to leave the placenta attached to our baby as we did not want it cut immediately. We did not want to donate to stem cell research and they unethically donated it anyway. I would never recommend this hospital to anyone.
