Richmond Heart and Vascular Associates

I came to Richmond heart and Vascular in March of 2024 desperate for answers after others brushed me off. I had tachy HR in the 120s-130s and they immediately diagnosed me with SVT without much testing. I know this because the diagnosis came up in my patient portal before I even had my heart monitor for 2 weeks. I wore a heart monitor for 2 weeks and again they verified I had SVT. They said I had several events with the heart monitor. I requested to see the results, which they never gave. whatever, at least I have a diagnosis right? Well they put me on medication which only half worked - fast forward a few month later I was still having "episodes" They were so quick to push ablation. I asked could this be POTS, could it be anything else? Because the "episodes" I was feeling were often a HR

Excellent care provider. My major point of contention is getting refills. It should be unnecessary for me the patient to continually contact the office asking them to submit a prescription refill to my pharmacy. Having to make a third call for said refill and never a requested follow up call is a bit unsettling.

Great doctors and group while testing and working on you but on call doctors will not return calls and medication are hard to get started that need prior authorizations insurance blames doctors and doctors blame insurance which leaves me feeling helpless and scared, don't have a problem with the samples of meds because the doctor will not return your call your stuck with an ER bill that might not needed to be Office staff are hard sweet workers when problems arise!

Larissa is knowledgeable and always takes her time to address all my questions and concerns! She makes me feel comfortable and truly listens. The staff is very welcoming and helpful as well. I would highly recommend this practice.

I had my visit today with the heart vascular doctor . I compliment the receptionist, the nurses and all the staff members on how patient and tolerant they were on handling aggravating irritating patient in the office today, I would give them a 10 star rating on this day alone. Great job and it was nicely and professionally handle.
