Richland Nursing and Rehabilitation

The rooms in the facility are pretty small and don’t give the residents much personal space. The rooms also can use a modern update. Walking into the main space, you have greater expectations for the rest of the facility due to it being updated within the last few years. Besides the aesthetics I have to say that the staff has been very attentive to my father who is a new resident. They are doing a good job so far in ensuring that his transition is smooth.

Finally, our mother is getting out of this disgusting dirty place! The smell of urine and feces is overpowering when you enter. My mom was neglected greatly. She has been here for many weeks with her hair not being washed and she smelled. She is bed ridden and she constantly complained that nobody would help her bed sores. She would ask for help was ignored. She cried because they would hardly give her water. Every visit, I was filling up her water cup. The food is not edible most of the time. We are always bringing food to her because the food is terrible! The place is filthy and rooms are small with nowhere to ever sit and visit. Sometimes you were given a rusty folding chair to sit on if lucky. The walls are even dirty with peeling paint. Patients yelling and cursing all day. People in

My Mother in Law had excellent care at your facility, especially from the staff that has worked there for a long time. They were very caring. Unfortunately, the younger staff are like so many others who are attached to their mobile devices. The facility should adopt a policy of no mobile devices while employees are working.

This place is a horrible place! Do not put your loved one in here! The staff are rude- they do not care for the patients. My mom is very ill and when asked to check her for the flu the nurse says it’s not her job! She has not had her hair washed for weeks! The place is noisy- beepers going off constantly- very unhappy people sitting in wheelchairs in the hallways- many cursing probably due to the lack of care- the place smells like feces- it is dirty and paint is chipped. We are trying desperately to get her out of this place! No one should be treated like this or placed in these conditions! Rooms are so small and if you visit you may find a folding chair if you’re lucky. I can’t believe our social worker said to put her here!

ANOTHER UPDATE!! We recently had another short term stay for mom and after a total of 4 stays at Richland Healthcare we would still give them a 5 star review!! This place is literally like family and we are forever grateful for them and all they have done to help! Thanks again for excellent care and compassion ♥️♥️♥️ UPDATE!!! I wasn’t able to post a new review so I wanted to add to my previous review. We had to take mom back to Richland Healthcare because she fell again. I still cannot say enough about this place and their staff! All of them are absolutely amazing and they are like family! Tawny goes above and beyond and she deserves a medal 🏅 Thank you again for everything you do for your residents and for the amazing care you all provide!! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ We just picked our mom up from her
