Our Hannah was 16.5 years old when I took her to Dr Hughes to get a second opinion. Hannah had a cough for a number of years that never got diagnosed. Dr. Hughes suggested an ex Ray. To everyone's shock Hannah had a mass in her abdomen. Two months later we had to send our precious baby to doggie heaven. Dr. Hughes showed so much compassion and support to us. It was a most time and I was so grateful that I could call Dr. Hughes anytime I needed to talk. I have now adopted a rescue dog and I am glad that Dr Hughes is part of our pet family. The office and exam rooms are always clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful. I'm so glad that I found this practice.

My family and I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Hughes! She is wonderful with my senior dog Bolt! He’s 16 years old and she takes such good care to make sure he’s happy and healthy! My family and I are so happy he’s in her care!

Dr. Sampson has a true gift for working with both people and animals. We have always valued his thoughtful approach, addressing symptoms carefully rather than immediately jumping to costly imaging, bloodwork or surgeries. We feel the same about Dr. Lin. We met Dr. Sampson for the first time when we lost our 16yr old cat. Dr. Linn broke the news a week prior during a sick visit. You really can’t ask for a more compassionate team. Dr. Sampson performed surgery on our Golden that gave us an extra year + with him. He made sure we understood the risks, and benefits before moving forward. We are forever grateful the surgery was as successful as it was and cherish the time we had with him. Appointments are easy to get and you won’t wait on hold forever. We contacted this clinic seeking an urgent appointment for our dog after an emergency hospital visit, as we simply wanted to have some follow-up tests done and have him examined by a vet. When we called, the staff member was very dismissive and told us “no appointments” in a rude tone even after we explained the situation. We understand clinics can be busy, but the lack of empathy and professionalism during a stressful moment was disappointing. We were told the earliest availability was about 3 weeks away and had to seek care elsewhere. Kindness and understanding toward worried pet owners goes a long way. This experience was extremely disappointing, especially since we were recommended to visit this clinic and heard good things.

Richboro Vet is amazing! My senior dog started feeling sick & then got progressively worse and Richboro vet fit us in right away ,which I am so thankful for. Dr. Hughes is incredible. So kind and compassionate and really made our dog feel comfortable. You can tell she really cares for the animals she’s helping and she made my 14 year old dog feel safe & calm while examining her. She was very thorough & explained everything to us and told us everything we need to do to get her on the mend again. Very thankful! Thank you Dr.Hughes & Richboro Vet !
