Being a little bit chicken as I had never had surgery of any kind before, I waited until I was 75 and retired to have my cataracts operated on. I heard the surgery was easy. Easy is putting it mildly! Dr. France was outstanding. The most amusing thing to me was that I had no idea I had gray hair! Nobody told me. And I was unaware of all the wrinkles before. Now I know. 😊. Five stars to this organization. Thank you!

Dr. France is fabulous. I had my first cataract surgery and it went great. His office staff is amazing with very caring people. His surgical team was warm and wonderful and made surgery so pleasant. Dr. France is the best. I 100% recommend Dr. France should you need cataract surgery. Can’t say enough great things about this team.❤️ no problems or complaints about the healing process. I’m doing great.

The fluid removal and lens implantation procedure was successful, and all the hospital staff were kind.

Dr France has been one of the most helpful doctors I have ever seen. He explains all aspects thoroughly and encourages questions to understand issues and diagnosis better as the patient. He's been a strong advocate for my eye health as well as anything that might be related, communicating with my other providers when appropriate and necessary. Having a Uveitis specialist in Southern Maine has been such a huge benefit in my care and understanding of my own diagnosis. I cannot recommend Dr. France enough!
