The doctor is pretty nice. However the staff is kind of pushy. A lot of their equipment in the office itself is outdated. I went there as a kid and all of the equipment including the office personnel looks like it hasn’t changed. I decided to bring my child here, the appointment lasted way longer than it was supposed to. When it came time for her to pick out glasses, they had a poor selection especially for a child. I understand that there is a certain selection that your insurance will cover but her previous provider had a way better and bigger selection especially for a child. I will be bringing my child back to her previous provider. I’ve been going to Dr D’Addio for almost 20 years. He and his staff are always kind and courteous. He explains different parts of the eye exam to let me know what he’s checking and why. I enjoy the quality of care and the selection of glasses. There are many options to choose from. He stayed open during the COVID-19 pandemic, when other doctors I knew of decided to retired. Great Doctor!!!

Granted, he is a man of experience and knowledge. However as new clients to his office, he sees you as another client rather than a person (its not really welcoming); one of his two secretary is too pushy and can come off as rude. Giving it a three star only because he does his work, and his employees definitely call you if there is an opening to fill you in.

The employees were curt, and rude at some points on the phone. That alone I can deal with. I waited for awhile and the appt lasted longer than any other eye appt ive had in recent memory. Probably because all of the equipment is from before the 1970's. Its very dark, I kept waiting for the Dr. to turn the lights on! Possibly one reason why my Rx was wrong and I had to go to a different Dr. and the glasses I ordered online. Also, the eye drops he put in my eyes had yellow crusties all around it. It was gross.
