Best dentist ever. This dental office is the most amazing experience. It was insanely amazing. And appreciated. Dr. Gruntz made my tooth cap right then and there in his office in about twenty minutes right before my eyes, 3D printed, no coming back to complete the job, all said and done in the office, same visit. Dr. Gruntz took some pictures with his camera then, and there, the 3D sculpting machine began sculpting out my tooth cap. I took video I wish I could upload to the review but cannot. I am a luddite. I have been seeing both father and son Gruntz for over a decade. I avoid the dentist like the plague so by the time I go, I have some major dental issue. Recently, my friend referred me to a different dentist due to it being closer to my house and it being a “fancy office”. Huge mistake. After the other dentist put in an ill fitting crown on top of a tooth that needed a root canal, I was in so much pain. I immediately called Dr Gruntz to help me. They fit me in so I could be seen quickly, at which point I discovered they recently moved to a “fancy office” too! I was still having trouble with pain a couple days after going in so they offered to see me on a Sunday. Truly the most honest and skillful dentist! My husband and I have been patients of theirs for over 8 years. They are very accommodating, thorough, and do not push unnecessary procedures. Always available for a question or last minute emergency. Not a corporate style dentist office….. it’s a family style!!

After a first visit with a dentist in Arlington who told me that I had 5 cavities (past history of 1 cavity total as a 30+ year old) that needed to be filled right way, I turned to the nextdoor app for reputable dentist recommendations. Arlington residents resoundingly recommended the Gruntz practice, so I called in a panic to request a second opinion. Dr. Gruntz (Jr) was so reassuring over the phone and he got me in right away for a second opinion. He could've easily agreed with the first dentist and recommended over $1,000 worth of work, instead he was totally honest and upfront, reassuring me that I had 1 spot that could use a filling at some point, but it was by no means an emergency. Easily the best dentist experience I have ever had! A father and son dentist who are both incredible as well as excellent front office support. The only reason I have waited to review is that I did not want to share, but the secret is now out. They are the best!!
