On Saturday, January 24th, I had the opportunity to attend the Pelviflow Yoga workshop for pelvic floor health, led by Dr. Tieya Qualls, and it was both informative and empowering. The workshop covered pelvic floor education through guided yoga flows, breathwork, strength-building, and release techniques. The workshop was very interactive and fun, and Dr. Qualls was extremely approachable, making unfamiliar information easy to understand and apply. She made lighthearted jokes and took the time to encourage class engagement and questions. Her presence was calm and peaceful, yet confident and knowledgeable. I participated in Dr Q’s Pelvic Floor Workshop and had an amazing time. Dr. Q was informative, professional and knowledgeable. This was my first formal yoga class and I was very comfortable there as a beginner. She made all of the moves very accessible and provided modified moves for those who needed them. I have more awareness of my pelvic floor and what I should be feeling when I am doing specific moves. Thank You Dr. Q!!! 😃

I just completed pelvic floor therapy with Dr. Qualls. I started in July feeling depressed, sad a hopeless at my initial assessment. At the end of that appointment I felt better than I had in the last two years after the birth of my 3rd child.
