I was in ER last Sunday for stiff neck, choke feeling in throat, plugged right ear, severe headache on the right side and a newly discovered dent on the right side. I requested to have a neck and head CT scan; however, Dr. Childers only ordered a CT scan for the head. And no medications were prescribed for my symptoms when they were still existing when I left the ER. It's been 5 days since then that all the symptoms are getting worse. I have never had such disappointing experience.
Dr. Childers appears biased against patients whom he believes are overusing medical services and patients with chronic pain. As the daughter of a Navy Captain, I am disappointed in his bedside manner and condescending attitude. Now, I need to use more medical resources as I navigate the healthcare system in order to get the care I need.
