I was on vacation with my family in CA when something happened to my eye. I was taken as an emergency and squeezed in the schedule to see a doctor. Dr Amr Dessouki and staff were friendly, supportive, and knowledgeable. Dr Dessouki did a laser surgery that fixed the issue. I was able to resume my vacation. Took a 95 year old client who is on oxygen in today for her macular degeneration shot. Waited 2 and 1/2 hours to see Dr. Chen. We let them know after 2 hours that we had to be cautious because her oxygen tank was getting low. Did not expect to be kept waiting so long, tank was fresh today but had a couple errands before appointment. Our concern was ignored. Finally got to a room and doctor came in to say he couldn't do the shot because 2 days ago they got an email there may be an issue with the shots. We asked why no one called before appointment or told us when we got there. No explanation and doctor and staff acted like it was not an issue to wait that long. Openly rude front desk staff and long, unnecessary waits. Arrived for 9 am appt and doctor wasn't even at work yet. Had to wait hour for doctor to come to work.
