Respiratory Center For Children

After having a teenager with bronchitis 4 times in the past 2 years, I decided to make an appointment with a pulmonologist, just to find out he has to go to a pediatric pulmonologist. The closest dc office is in Morristown. I called in sept/oct, just to be given an appointment at the end of Jan. Two weeks prior to the appointment, the office called saying that the appointment had to be rescheduled, not giving a real explanation why. Being a busy parent doesn't make the new appointment available till March. Which basically means that we've been waiting 6 months. By the time my teenager sees a specialist, all the symptoms are either gone or got worse with the only option to go to the ER or being given antibiotics for only 5 days at a time by the regular pediatricians or urgent cares.

Everyone from front desk to nurses and doctors were so kind and amazing. Doctor Harvey Bieler was so attentive and patient with my daughter and explained everything in detail to myself and gave me assurance that we’re on the right track with her and her recovery. If I could give more starts for this facility and staff I would.

One of the worst pediatric patient experiences I’ve seen in a long time, and i come from a medical family. 45 min wait time on the room to see the doctor w an infant. If that wasn’t bad enough , the customer experience from the nurse as we left wi th our seeing the doctor made it even worse- no empathy, didn’t care that we left… this is exactly why ppl don’t want to use large medical practices… they simply don’t care like the smaller practices do… I’d do your homework on the pulmonary practice before you chose to use them.

This group of doctors has always been there for my son when he needs to be seen urgently.

Staff, facility, doctor, diagnosis, and treatment were all on point.
