Resolute Baptist Hospital

This hospital is the best and the staff are exceptional. The attention was incredible and care specially Sandra, Maritza and the doctor Amber who helped me during my childbirth to bring my first child into this world. Also, I have to thank all the nurses and doctors who were super sweet and kind with me and my husband in this process, for example Shawnna, Cindy, Amanda who was in the night to take care of me and my child. Besides, the lactation consultants like Sam and Shannon helped me a lot how to breastfeed my baby properly(thanks a bunch for that. I also want to thank Alexandra who was the first person to assist me when I came to the hospital. I would like to share my experience with Resolute Baptist Hospital in New Braunfels, Texas, because this hospital truly provided exceptional care for my brother. On Sunday, December 28, 2025, I brought my brother in after he had been suffering from excruciating foot pain for over a month. He had already seen his PCP, a podiatrist, and visited four different emergency departments, yet no one could tell him what was wrong. My oldest sister suggested Resolute Baptist because her husband said they provide quality care — and she was absolutely right. When we arrived, Dr. Semmi examined his foot thoroughly, actually touched it, and immediately recognized that he needed to be admitted. Had come in via EMS after severe abdominal/flank pain at work. From the get go Meredith was sweet. The lady who was trying to get my IV was also nice. (My veins have always been a hard stick) PA Craig had phenomenal bedside manner, heard what was going on. Made great decisions with explanations on the fly. Cool and collected. Which made me a lot more at ease. And my nurse Daniell V was a delight. Chipper and kind. Only fear I had was when a chaplain walked into my room thinking I was a different patient….thought I was dying and didn’t know it….I still laugh at the small fumble to this day. Regardless, they know their stuff and show proactive and kind behavior. If I’m ever in NB and have an emergency. (Hopefully not) I know where to go. 🙌

This was probably the best experience I had at any Hospital in my time. I didn't even want to go but when I stopped being able to breathe normally I thought maybe I need to go see a doctor. All the nurses and all of the doctors and every single one of the staff members that I interacted with were amazing. I think I got food poisoning and I was in and out in no time.

If I could leave 0 stars I would for this hospital & THOMAS E NEWMAN. I was recently transported via EMS 11/29/25 to resolute hospital for severe pain in my abdomen. I was then approached by the attending physcian Thomas E Newman. Immediately I explained my prior emergency surgeries to help elaborate my extreme abdomen pain, as I was sweating from excruciating pain. After running a ultra sound the team found sludge in my Gallbladder and Instead of seeking a alternative solution. The care physician was very adamant he could not perform the surgery, this was after I explained I had a colon and gastro specialist and needed help for my pain.
