Rehabilitation Hospital of Columbus

I only gave it one star so that it would post. That’s giving them too much credit. I am writing this for my brother who was a patient there. Facility was clean. Physical therapist the two that I met were very kind sweet And patient oriented. Answered any questions I had about therapy. However, the nursing staff, Depending on who he had , some cared, some acting like they didn’t wanna be there. It’s very frustrating. It took me almost the whole time of his staying there in order for a doctor to call me back (several times) because someone wrote my phone number down wrong. I politely asked to have the doctor call me back the very first day he was there and was told he’s not gonna call you back by the nurse. He rounded before visitation started and no one told me that I could get in an

Spent 2 weeks at this facility and I have zero regret. Ever staff member was kind. The food was a hit or miss, but after being able to request different items, things turned around quickly. My therapist were amazing.. hats off to Bri, NiNi and Ms Willa. Great nurses and techs. The admin staff took time to visit my room and always had a smile and a willingness to help.

Nice facility. PT & OT were great and I feel stronger. Thurs night, Oct 16th the tech & nurse assigned never introduced themselves or write info on board. Tech failed to take my vitals and after 2 hrs approached me and I told her if vitals were important why pass my room several times w/o taking them and I refused to allow her to take them. The tech walked away as I was talking to her. The nurse cared for me afterwards. One night I waited over 45 min. for pain meds. I applaud efforts of day shift nurses and techs, doctors, cafeteria and housekeeping. My Respiratory therapists Ida and Ashley were phenomenal! The respiratory therapist Ida, went over and beyond by giving me a device which helps with coughing up mucous and she went to get me dinner from the nutrition room one evening. I lik

I had a wonderful experience here, from the food to the people. They even decorated the door for my birthday. There was a humming bird feeder outside my window that was so beautiful.

I’m Vicki Lucas and I was the patient at Encompass My stay at Encompass was exceptional. From the time I arrived at the facility all the way to check out was above and beyond. I have many experiences that I would love to share with you in a more in-depth manner.
