I saw Dr. Reed as my primary care provider for several years where she assumed I had ADHD, yet her awkward error eventually led to my adult ADHD diagnosis. I was looking for collaborative, evidence-based care. Instead, I often felt my questions and attempts to clarify treatment plans were treated as inconveniences or boundary issues rather than normal, responsible engagement from a neurodivergent patient trying to understand their own health and paying for that extra access and support. The final straw was discovering an “off the record” note she sent along with my records to my new doctor. In that note, she described my mood as “labile,” implied she regretted prescribing ADHD medication to me “for convenience,” and characterized my communication in a way that I experienced as stigmatizin

I previously saw Dr. Reed at Duke, and she was fantastic. I was so bummed when she left Duke, but so excited to check out her new practice! It did not disappoint. It was so easy to schedule an appointment, and the actual visit was an enjoyable medical appointment for maybe the first time in my life. Dr. Reed is an amazing doctor, one of the best I've ever seen! She truly listens to your concerns and treats you with dignity and respect. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for an incredible primary care doctor!

I had previously seen Dr Reed at a Duke Primary Care. She was phenomenal, caring, matter of fact, open minded and empathetic. I was disappointed when she left and went to many other PCPs and left frustrated because they weren’t actually listening and definitely did not have time to advocate for me. I was thrilled to find Dr Reed and myself and my daughter go to her. She is always available even on a weekend. There is nothing more comforting knowing that you have an outstanding doctor who actually knows you and cares about your health.

Dr. Reed is am amazing physician that both my wife and I use as our primary care doctor. She is incredibly kind and makes everyone feel welcome and at ease. I would highly recommend her for anyone looking for excellent care in the Triangle!

Dr. Reed has an exceptional DPC practice. I would recommend Reed Family Medicine to anyone looking for Direct Primary Care provider. They have created an environment that is personable, professional, and thorough. Dr. Reed is always a good listener who genuinely cares. Consistently taking as much time as needed to give great advice. When scheduling appoints, generally I can schedule within 3-5 days. And In urgent matters, we have been able to make appointments the same day. They are always are going above and beyond what you would expect from a doctor’s office these days!
