When we first moved to the area, I tried two other dentist offices. One was "nice", but it seemed like the "recommendations" from my visits always led to additional care and costs which I couldn't tell were really necessary or not. The other I tried during COVID times and the cleanliness did not feel up to par. I finally discovered Redmond Dental and was so grateful to find a dentist practice where I felt like I could truly trust their care, recommendations, and facility conditions! They even helped provide good dental care for my in-laws who had very specific dental needs. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Jennifer Tung. She is so warm, thorough, and full of integrity. Always a positive experience! Korina rocks at cleanings and check-ups, and Dr. Christopher and Dr. Jennifer are great with fillings. They all give super useful tips to keep our teeth and mouths healthy for the long haul. The front desk is super friendly, and the clinic is spotless!

TL;DR: We are leaving this dental office due to repeated billing surprises, unnecessary treatment recommendations, and provider/service changes made without notice or consent. My husband and I were long-time patients of Dr. Mu and always received excellent care. I even recommended this office to many friends and coworkers. When we scheduled our annual checkups and regular cleanings this year, there was no indication that Dr. Mu had retired, and we were automatically reassigned to Dr. Christopher Tung. During my visit, I received no cleaning at all, yet I was billed for periodontal maintenance, which is significantly more expensive and less covered by insurance. Firstly, let me just say: The staff here are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and easy to talk to. One of the best experiences I've had interacting with people. The reason I'm giving a 1-star review is because they operate a BAD business practice of not telling you what the cost of the services are BEFORE they perform any work on you. I was charged $515 for some X-rays and a cleaning, which would have been nice to know in advance. They also didn't even care to tell me that my insurance was out-of-network, therefore increasing the amount I have to pay out of pocket.
