Reading Hospital Imaging

I’m a first time mom who had an ultrasound this past Friday and the lady who did it was extremely rude and unprofessional. Right off the bat she was giving heavy attitude to my fiancé, my parents, and I even though we were just asking questions (as first time parents and grandparents should). Her student was acting suspicious about my mom’s phone being in her hand and was accusing her of trying to take photos (she wasn’t). They made me feel afraid that they would try to hurt me since it was a transvaginal ultrasound and she pressed extremely hard on my stomach and didn’t care when I expressed pain when she was taking images one of my ovaries. Will probably try Penn state health next time since they ruined a moment that was supposed to be special for me and my family.

Staff in the ultrasound department are great! Maddie from ultrasound department was awesome when I had 2 separate tests last week. Also, all staff from radiology such as emergency department X-ray and CT scan are great!
